Madrigal night at L-Way Central

NEW LENOX -- The Lincoln-Way Central High School will celebrate the 40th annual Madrigal Dinner this year.

Tickets are on sale for the 6 p.m. Dec. 11, 12, 18 and 19 performances in the Fine Arts Auditorium. Tickets cost $28.

Tickets can be ordered by calling 815-462-2390 and leaving a message.

The Madrigal Dinners have been a holiday tradition since 1970.

This year's singers are, from New Lenox: Cara Burke, Elizabeth Clark, Jacob Gaier, Alison Huntley, Sarah Lapsker, Adam Minton, Ben Moy, Gianluca Panici, Emma Prendergast, and Megan VanderWall. Also from New Lenox are juniors Kent Van Kley and Vicky Vargas. Members from Manhattan are seniors Jayme Doyle and Drew Price, junior Jack Bauer, and sophomore Alex Boeckman. From Joliet is senior Emily Sniegowski.

The actors are: from New Lenox, Tim Rodgers and Allie DiMiele; from Mokena, Samantha Sainsbury; and from Manhattan, Zacke Naughton.

Director is Michael Bultman, in his 15th year at Central.

Special arrangements have been made to honor Madrigal alumni for the anniversary. On Dec. 17, a reception will be hosted at the school for Madrigal alumni from the years 1970-1990. Knight alumni who were singers with the Madrigal Singers in 1991 or later will be honored at the Dec. 18 dinner. Call 815-462-2300 for more information.
