Auditions
Choristers: Adults and teens sought for July 19 performance of Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana" at Wheaton College's Edman Chapel under conductor Peter Lipari of Plainfield. A joint production with the newly formed West Suburban Symphony Festival Orchestra. Rehearsals will begin on June 23. The Kingston Trio: 7:30 p.m. May 9. The trio is one of the best known folk groups in history. Tickets cost $20 to $48.

Vince Gill: 7:30 p.m. Sept. 18. Grammy-winning country artist. Tickets cost $45-$95.
Sinovi Tamburitza orchestra and dinner: 4 to 7 p.m. a breaded pork tenderloin dinner will be served; 7 p.m. Sinovi Tamburitza Orchestra will begin playing on May 17. Dinner-dance tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased at the bar. Tickets must be purchased by May 13. The cost for the dance only is a $5 cover charge, collected at the door.

Sunday swing dance with the Gina Knight Orchestra of Joliet: 7:30 p.m. to midnight May 25. A complimentary swing dance lesson will be given from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and an open dance follows. Admission is $12 or $10 with a student ID. Participants are encouraged to attend in vintage attire, no jeans or gym shoes.
Taste of Joliet: June 27-29. Performance by Jo Dee Messina on June 29. The event will feature more than 25 local food vendors, a full schedule of music, kids' activities, mud volleyball and various contests.
Alyssa Lauren and Rebecca Barlow: 8 p.m. May 9. Christian rock band BarlowGirl in an exclusive Chicago area performance. Tickets cost $22, 27 and $37.

Pinocchio: 7 p.m. May 20. Thirteen children from the StagePlay Musical Theater for Kids will be performing the 40-minute musical. Admission is free.
Evita: 8 p.m. May 27. Winner of seven Tony Awards, "Evita" brings to life Eva Peron, wife of former Argentine dictator Juan Peron. Tickets cost $45 to $55.
Steel Magnolias: 8 p.m. May 30-31 and 3 p.m. June 1. Cost $10 pre-paid and $12 at the door. All seating is reserved on a first come, first served basis and there are no refunds. Production by The Morris Theatre Guild Inc.
