Pioneers named

ELGIN -- Re/Max recently inducted two Will County Realtors into its Pioneer Club. They are Jim Conway of Re/Max Realty of Joliet and Mary Zawaski of Re/Max All Properties in Frankfort.

Membership in the club is awarded to sales associates and broker/owners marking their 25th anniversary as affiliates of the Re/Max Northern Illinois network.

"Those who reach Pioneer Club status are committed to Re/Max and the real estate industry. The depth of knowledge they now possess allows them to succeed in a wide range of market conditions," said Jim Merrion, regional director of Re/Max Northern Illinois. Batson joins Amcore

JOLIET -- Amcore Bank announced Christine Batson has joined the company as a commercial relationship manager and vice president.

In this position, Batson provides business customers with commercial and residential real estate loans. She works in the Chicago Residential and Commercial Real Estate Group of Amcore Bank. She is located in the Joliet office, 1523 Essington Road.

Batson brings 15 years of lending and banking experience to the company. Previously she was a vice president in commercial real estate for Old Plank Trail Community Bank. Batson has her Illinois Real Estate license. She earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Lewis University.

Active in the community, Batson is involved with the Will County Center for Economic Development and United Way of Will County.
