Bank promotions

MORRIS -- Julie Cardot, DiAnn Chamberlain and Judy Smith have been promoted to assistant vice president, and Sarah Stephens was promoted to branch manager of Grundy Bank.

Cardot has been employed at Grundy Bank for 23 years. She has been the head teller there for the past seven years and is the BSA/AML Officer for the bank. She has completed the Morris Police Academy and is a past deacon and elder of the Presbyterian Church. She is currently a member of the Morris Hospital Auxiliary, having served as Morris Hospital Ball Co-Chair for the past three years. She also served on the committee for the park district. She lives in Morris with her husband Doug of 28 years. They are the parents of Jason and Meghan.

Chamberlain started at Grundy Bank 33 years ago as a teller and later became the head teller. She currently serves as the bank's security officer and is responsible for the bank's merchant credit card and Federal Reserve Bank activities. She was reared in Morris and graduated from Morris Community High School. She has been active in the bank's annual coat drive and is a member of the Morris Hospital Auxiliary and the Morris Country Club. She resides in Morris with her husband Steve and son Stephen.

Smith has been with Grundy Bank for nine years and manages the New Accounts and marketing areas of the bank. Originally from Ohio, she received her BS from The Ohio State University and has completed the CLA program at Capital University Law School. She is a member of the Morris Hospital Auxiliary, serving as a co-chairperson for the Morris Hospital Ball for the past two years. She and her husband Alex reside in Plainfield with their son, Patrick.

Stephens has been with Grundy Bank for seven years, most recently serving as branch operations manager for the Wilmington Branch of Grundy Bank. She was raised in Morris and graduated from Morris Community High School. She currently resides in Diamond.

New board assignments

JOLIET -- Three Rivers Construction Alliance announced several committee assignments on its board. Bob Baish of Robert Baish Excavating takes the helm as the new management co-chair, while Lester Chaney of L&M Concrete was named the new corporate secretary and Alfie Rodriguez from Sheet Metal Workers Local 265 will be the new treasurer. Tom White from Teamsters Local 179 remains the Labor co-chair for the new term. Long-time trustee and former management chair Tana Gray remains on the board as a director.
