Provena marketing honored

JOLIET -- Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center announced that several of its public relations and marketing efforts have achieved national distinction in the 25th Annual Healthcare Marketing Report Awards competition and the Aster Awards, a national medical marketing competition.

"These national recognitions demonstrate the extraordinary commitment to excellence that our Public Relations and Marketing team put forth in their work to inform and educate the community on important healthcare topics," explains Jeffrey Brickman, FACHE, System Senior Vice President and Regional CEO of the Provena South Suburban Region. "Congratulations to our Public Relations and Marketing team, including Rich Matula, Regional Marketing Manager; Allie Bailey, Public Relations Manager; and Jenni Goodwin, Marketing Associate."

Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center’s Marketing and Public Relations team received two recognitions in the Aster Awards, a national medical marketing awards program.

Gold - Entry Name: 125th Gala Invite; Agency: Greenlight Creative -- Hammond, IN; Category: Invitations

The Aster Awards is a national medical marketing awards program allowing healthcare organizations and advertising agencies to compete against similarly sized competitors from across the nation. Each year the Aster Awards has an annual contest allowing entries designed, printed and/or distributed the previous year to be scored and judged for the possibility of receiving a Gold, Silver, Bronze. The Aster Awards is hosted by Creative Images, Inc., an internationally recognized firm that has specialized in strategic healthcare marketing for more than 15 years.

Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center received three awards in the Annual Healthcare Marketing Report Awards:

Silver - Health Promotion Program; Cancer Care/Skin Cancer; Agency: Church & Main, Inc.

Merit - Total Advertising Campaign (without TV); Neurosciences; Agency: Church & Main, Inc.

The Healthcare Advertising Awards is the oldest, largest and most widely respected healthcare advertising awards competition. The awards are sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report, the leading publication covering all aspects of healthcare marketing, advertising and strategic business development. A national panel of judges were engaged in reviewing all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact. The judges recognized sixteen entrants with the Best of Show designation, for their overall excellence and breakthrough advertising production.
