BUSINESS BRIEFS

Labor Day coming soon

FRANKFORT -- There are less than 100 days until the annual Frankfort Fall Festival, held on Labor Day weekend.

The annual festival is organized solely by Frankfort Chamber of Commerce volunteers and offers more than 300 artisans, entertainment, a large variety of refreshments, carnival rides and a community parade. People can show their support for the festival by driving around the country with 2008 Frankfort Fall Festival official license plates.

The cost is $30, and all passenger cars, B-trucks and recreational vehicles weighing less than 8,000 pounds, with valid registration within the state of Illinois, are eligible to display the festival plate.

For more information or to obtain your 2008 Frankfort Fall Festival license plate application, call the chamber office at (815) 469-3356, or visit www.frankfortchamber.com.
