SHOREWOOD -- Maggie's Place will celebrate its new location with a holiday party at 5 p.m. Friday. The home decorating store has moved two doors down to 339 Vertin Blvd. The party will feature food, drink, entertainment and discounts. A ribbon cutting with the Shorewood chamber will be at 4 p.m. Classes on how to decorate for the holidays will be held Nov. 11. Wreath and swag making seminars are scheduled for Nov. 17. Admission is free. LOCKPORT -- The chamber will welcome a new business to town this week. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at 5 p.m. Friday at Heritage Jewelers , 1115 E. Ninth St. The jewelry store will hold a grand opening 5-9 p.m. The event will include wine and cheese and free ring cleanings. The business offers retail jewelry, design and repair.
