These are incidents reported by the Glen Ellyn Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.

Thursday, Oct. 29

1 Illegal consumption of liquor by a minor: Rachel Weinstock, 19, 100 block of Newton Avenue and Blair Douglas, 19, 400 block of Turner Avenue; 12:07 a.m. on the 100 block of Newton Avenue; both charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

2 Battery: Chris Kupka, 54, Wheaton and Joseph Pezza, 29, Carol Stream; 5:44 p.m. at the Glen Ellyn train station, 555 Crescent Blvd.; both charged with battery.

Tuesday, Oct. 27

3 Retail theft: Kelly Shaeffer, 38, 500 block of Lowden Avenue; at Jewel Foods, 599 Roosevelt Road; charged with retail theft.

4 Possession of marijuana: Joseph Vivoda, 19, 800 block of Highview Avenue; 11:35 p.m. at Roosevelt Road and Sunset Avenue; charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

5 Burglary to vehicle: Before 9 a.m. on the 400 block of Sandhurst Circle; a GPS was stolen from a vehicle.

Monday, Oct. 26

6 Burglary: At 3:24 p.m. on the 200 block of Bryant Avenue; a mountain bike was stolen from a garage.

7 Driving under the influence: Marco Hernandez, 36, first block of North Main St.; 2:02 a.m. at Roosevelt Road and Interstate 355; charged with DUI, improper lane usage and driving without headlights on when required.

Saturday, Oct. 24

8 DUI: Brent Cohen, 22, 900 block of Maryknoll Avenue; 2:09 a.m. on the 900 block of Maryknoll Avenue; charged with DUI, improper lane usage, driving without headlights on when required and driving with a suspended license.

9 Theft: Sarah Pingel, 17, 1N500 block of Glenrise Avenue; 1:12 a.m. at St. Mark's Church, 391 N. Main St.; charged with theft.

Friday, Oct. 23

10 DUI: Michael Cortilet, 41, Lombard; 12:08 a.m. at Main Street and Fairview Avenue; charged with DUI. Police Report
