Glen Crest School honors Spartan Pride Award winners
Glen Crest Middle School in Glen Ellyn honored 85 winners of the Spartan Pride Award during Character Counts Week in October.
The Spartan Pride Way To Go Award is bestowed on students who conduct themselves in a manner that reflects positively on themselves, others and the school. Principal Todd Schrage was the featured speaker for the Spartan Pride Ice Cream Sundae Reception sponsored by the Parent Teacher Council. This is his first year as principal of Glen Crest.
Eighth-grade awards winners are Meghan Beese, Mathieu Bilodeau, Brandon Blankenship, Benjamin Bui, James Compere, Carolina Daffre, Micah Eldridge, Alexis Espositista-Aliga, Colleen Fearn, Alexis Floback, Jamie Francis, Natalie Galbreath, Erin Gibson, Eric Hosek, Paige Jacobson, Darby Janss, John Marks, Gianna Marra, Alex Nigl, Meghana Patel, Erin Posavec, Malik Pratt, Chaun Rickette, Michael Scholl, Alexander Schreiber, Jose Vanquez and Sean Westfall.
Seventh-grade honorees are Trey Bradley, Dylan Brambora, Daniel Brooks, Vanique Burch, Neal Choksi, Alexander Crouch, Jonah Delgado, Leraud Dotson, Lauren Eber, Larson Foltz, Rebecca Frese, A.J. Gaffney, Matthew Harrington, Margo Jurkowski, Elizabeth Kohout, Kiana London, Megan Matker, Riley McDermott, Jake Miller, Pearl Opem, Daniel Pechi, Allie Portugal, Aakanksha Sahib, Dana Scholtens and Haley Szweb.
