Public complaint: William P. Campbell, 48, of the 100 block of Ridge Lane, Geneva, on Oct. 27 at 11:56 a.m., was issued a local ordinance citation for public intoxication in the 400 block of W. State Street, police said. Police said Campbell was issued the local ticket after he was transported by ambulance to get checked out at Delnor Hospital in Geneva.

DUI: George B. Polivka, 52, of Owings Mills, Maryland, was charged Oct. 25 at 3:39 a.m. with drunken driving in the 0-99 block of E. State Street, police said. Polivka also was charged with DUI over the 0.08 limit and driving without lights, police said.
