Drug charges: Austin T. Dwiggins, 18, of the 500 block of Anderson Boulevard, Geneva, was charged after Geneva police and officers from the Chicago Police Department's Area 4 Project Safe Neighborhoods searched his lower level apartment and confiscated various amounts and types of drugs, according to Geneva Police Commander Julie Nash. Dwiggins was charged with felony unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor unlawful possession of cannabis.
Sunday, Oct. 18
DUI: John R. Fagot, 27, of the 100 block of Charles Street, Geneva, was charged Oct. 18 at 11:46 p.m. with drunken driving in the 800 block of E. State Street, police said. He also was charged with operating an uninsured vehicle. Theft: A piece of luggage containing clothing and a digital camera worth $1,000 was stolen from a front porch in the 500 block of Mayborne Lane, police said. The bag was dropped off from a delivery service after the resident returned from O'Hare Airport.
Saturday, Oct. 17
Traffic: Sergio D. Vera, 18, of the 2000 block of W. 21st Place, Chicago, was charged Oct. 17 at 6:15 p.m. with driving on a suspended driver's license in the 900 block of E. State Street, police said. Vera also was issued a warning for driving 50 miles per hour in a 35-mph zone. DUI: Erin M. Kelleher, 21, of the 800 block of Shagbark Lane, Aurora, was charged Oct. 17 at 2:16 a.m. with drunken driving and improper lane usage after a traffic stop in the 900 block of Batavia Avenue, police said.
Friday, Oct. 16
Traffic: Joseph J. Johnson, 23, of the 300 block of W. 51st Street, Chicago, was charged Oct. 16 at 12:22 a.m. with driving on a suspended driver's license and operating an uninsured vehicle in the 1500 block of E. Fabyan Parkway, police said. Johnson also was issued a warning for driving without lights.
