Trojans down Leyden

The Trojans defeated visiting Leyden on Dec. 12 by the score of 132.5 points to 53.5.

Burke Sims won the 50-yard freestyle (22.6 seconds) and 100 backstroke. His time of 55.16 in the backstroke broke his own varsity record.

Ryan Downey won the 200 individual medley (2:07.82) and 500 freestyle (4:55.68).

Dennis Graves won the 100 butterfly (1:00.34) and was second in the 200 IM (2:08.28). Casey Ozog took second in the 100 backstroke (1:02.47) and 100 butterfly (1:01.75).

The next day, North was third at the Mustang Jamboree at Rolling Meadows High School.

The Trojans scored 208 points. Loyola (303) won the meet with Prospect (220) in second.
