Bartlett, Jacobs and Burlington Central all can wrap up outright conference titles this week by winning out.
For Jacobs and Burlington Central celebrating a conference title is nothing new.

The Golden Eagles, members of the Fox Valley Conference Valley Division, have shared the league title the last two seasons. A win on Tuesday against rival Dundee-Crown would give Jacobs (20-2, 11-0) the undisputed championship.
The Golden Eagles, members of the Fox Valley Conference Valley Division, have shared the league title the last two seasons. A win on Tuesday against rival Dundee-Crown would give Jacobs (20-2, 11-0) the undisputed championship.
"One of our main objectives was to win the conference outright this year," Golden Eagles coach Jeremy Bauer said.
Burlington Central's reign in the Big Northern Conference East Division has been even more impressive. The Rockets (23-1, 9-0) earned at least a share of the program's fourth straight league title on Thursday after blanking Hampshire. A win on Wednesday at home against Marengo (8-1 BNCE) would clinch it.
"The girls are keyed into winning it outright," Rockets coach Scot Sutherland said. "It definitely means something to us. They will be ready."
For Bartlett (21-5, 17-0) the Hawks need to beat St. Charles East, Streamwood and Elgin this week to wrap up the program's first UEC title. Defending champ Lake Park currently sits in second place two games behind.
"I think (UEC title) would be something nice for these girls to accomplish," Bartlett coach Jim Wolfsmith said. "That was definitely a goal of theirs coming into the season."
Maisto relieved after setting mark -- Burlington Central pitcher Erica Maisto was thankful and very much relieved after breaking Heather Wendt's school record for career wins (70) last week. Maisto (12-0) is currently 72-9 in her four-year career.
"I was so happy to finally achieve that," Maisto said. "I was feeling a little pressure so that is now off.
"It does seem like a lot of wins. If somebody would have said in four years I was going to have over 70 wins I would have said 'Yeah, whatever.' I never would have guessed it."
French returns to Storm -- After missing nearly two weeks with a shoulder injury, South Elgin senior ace Rebecca French returned to the lineup on Saturday at the Fenton Tournament. French started against Willowbrook but was pulled after two innings. She then pitched a complete game in a loss to Plainfield South, tossing 100 pitches.
"We didn't see anything wrong but we will be looking forward to (today) to see how she feels," Storm coach Jason Schaal said.
In French's absence, the Storm relied heavily on junior Cary Thereon. Juniors Lauren Vitiello and Kimberly Pierce also shared innings.
"We were in a time of need and (Thereon) has pitched a lot for us lately," Schaal said. "She stepped up for us."
Wave celebrates homers -- After not recording a fence-clearing home run through its first 22 games, St. Edward finally accomplished the feat on May 6. Senior Megan Pozezinski broke a scoreless tie in the bottom of the sixth inning with a long blast. One batter later freshman Lea Diaz, who has two inside-the-park homers this season -- slugged another homer over the fence. St. Edward eventually won 3-2.
