Sabres fall in finale

October 24, 2009

GRAYSLAKE -- Alex Morrow rushed for 75 yards and scored on an 8-yard run but it wasn't enough for Streamwood in a 14-9 season-ending non-conference defeat at Grayslake Central on Friday night.

The Sabres (1-8) ended their season with seven consecutive defeats. Morrow carried the ball 15 times for 75 yards and scored in the second quarter. Streamwood also scored on a safety before halftime.

Joey Hanover completed 8 of 23 passes for 96 yards with two interceptions for the Sabres.
