Cogs drop BNC West tilt

OREGON -- Genoa-Kingston missed a chance to become playoff eligible, losing 22-21 to Oregon on Friday night in a Big Nothern Conference West Division clash.

The Cogs (4-3, 1-2) trailed 22-7 at halftime. G-K scored a defensive touchdown in the first half when John Cwiok recovered a fumble and got rushing TDs from Craig Billington (72 yards) and Robby Thurlby (33 yards) after the intermission.
