G-K gets past Lutheran

ROCKFORD -- Austin Bankson rushed for two touchdowns to propel Genoa-Kingston to a 12-7 Big Northern Conference West Division victory over Rockford Lutheran on Friday night.
Bankson scored on a 5-yard run in the first quarter and scampered for a 4-yard score in the third quarter for the Cogs (4-2, 1-1). Bankson rushed 21 times for 68 yards.
