Red Raiders stumble against Warriors

MCHENRY -- Huntley got off to a slow start and could not recover in a 28-7 defeat against McHenry on Friday night.

The Red Raiders trailed 14-0 after the opening quarter and 21-0 at halftime in a Fox Valley Conference Valley Division defeat.

Huntley (3-2, 0-1) scored on an 83-yard touchdown pass from Tim Lycos to Brett Kleckner in the third quarter.

The Red Raiders were limited to just 22 yards on 27 rushing attempts.
