St. Charles North downs McHenry

September 5, 2009

ST. CHARLES -- Ben Hodges ran for two touchdowns, helping St. Charles North remain unbeaten following a 34-13 non-conference win against McHenry on Friday night.

Jake Bergren ran for a score and threw for another for North (2-0), which coasted in its home opener.

"Our defense played great tonight. I'm really proud of it," said North coach Mark Gould.
