Customer hangs tough on big bill
Dear Fixer: On Dec. 31, I opened my home phone bill and almost fell over -- my bill has always been $47, but this was for $480.18. It included $432.55 in international calls to the Czech Republic. I don't even know anyone in the Czech Republic.

Couldn't heal credit report on old medical bill
D ear Fixer: On my Equifax "Beacon" credit report, there were some delinquencies. I took care of all of them except one.
