Swine flu vaccinations at Centegra in McHenry Co.
WOODSTOCK -- Centegra Health System is partnering with the McHenry County Department of Health to provide H1N1 vaccine starting today at its immediate care and primary care sites in Huntley, Woodstock, Crystal Lake and McHenry.
Continuing for an indefinite period based on supply, H1N1 vaccination clinics will be offered from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday and 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday.
The clinics will be open to the public dependent upon adequate supply of vaccine from the federal authorities.
Residents are encouraged to check www.centegra.org for the latest information regarding vaccine supply and the ability of the clinics to operate on a given day. The Web site will be updated as needed.
The clinics will follow Centers for Disease Control guidelines regarding who should receive vaccine by priority. Visit Centegra's Web site to find out if you qualify for the H1N1 vaccine.
There is no charge for the vaccine, but there is a $15 fee to administer the immunization. The clinics will bill Medicare and Medicaid for the administration fee. All others will be expected to pay $15 at the time of service.
Centegra also will offer H1N1 vaccinations to the community through its Worksite Wellness program as supplies become available.
Centegra is partnering with the 18 school districts in McHenry County to offer vaccinations for students based upon available supplies.
