STMG expects New York Stock Exchange to suspend, delist stock

Sun-Times Media Group Inc. said Wednesday it expects its stock to be suspended and delisted by the New York Stock Exchange for not meeting requirements for average price and market capitalization.

The publisher of the Sun-Times said it expects its shares to trade on the OTC Bulletin Board. CEO Cyrus Freidheim said the decision will not impact the company's financial status, the way it conducts business or its plans topreviously announced plan to explore strategic alternatives.
