Grand Opening of luxury townhomes at Radcliffe Place

May 3, 2008

Four new townhome models will grand open this Saturday and Sunday at Radcliffe Place in Tinley Park.

Showcasing the brick construction and craftsmanship of builder Gallagher and Henry, the townhomes also include interior finishes such as glazed cherry cabinetry, granite countertops, hardwood flooring, ceramic tile with decorative inlays and much more.

According to Radcliffe Place sales manager, Valentina Plastiak, buyer interest among commuters and current Radcliffe Place single-family home owners has been strong.

"Because the townhomes are within walking distance of the Metra train station we've had a lot of interest from daily downtown commuters," Plastiak said. "In fact, our first townhome buyer is a commuter and loves the idea of being able walk to the train station every day. We've also had interest from current single-family homeowners in Radcliffe Place who are looking to stay in the area but want to streamline their lifestyle. With only 20 townhomes and buyer interest at such a high, we're anticipating brisk sales upon the model Grand Opening."

Located on 179th Street and Iroquois just east of LaGrange Road, Radcliffe Place is a community of 309 semi-custom single-family homes and townhomes. The townhomes are priced from the low $300,000s and range from approximately 1,800 to 2,500 square feet in size with two to three bedrooms, lofts per plan, and a list of custom finishes included as standard.

"The Addison model, an end unit, is decorated and features a first-floor master bedroom suite," Plastiak said. "Couples with high school and college-aged children like the idea of having their bedroom on the first-floor while the children can utilize the two bedrooms, loft and full bath upstairs. We've also had an interest from 'related living' buyers who are purchasing the Addison and planning to have an older parent living on the first-floor while they maintain the upstairs for themselves. It is a very flexible design."

Highlights of the 2,406-square-foot Addison include a first-floor master suite with his-and-hers walk-in closets and a private bath, as well as two upstairs bedrooms both with walk-in closets and a loft. This home also offers a kitchen with octagonal-shaped breakfast room; living room and adjoining dining room with volume ceiling; basement; and two-car garage.

"The model showcases some beautiful decorator extras such as a cherry banister with wrought-iron spindles, cherry-glazed kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, stainless-steel appliances and frise carpeting," Plastiak said. "Warm beiges, sage greens and burgundy tones bring this model to life."

Three other townhomes are not decorated but are loaded with quality upgrades and ready for immediate delivery. They are:

✿ The Beldon, a 1,821-square-foot three-bedroom home or two-bedroom home with optional loft, 2½ baths and basement. Highlights include a living room with volume ceiling; kitchen open to the formal dining room; first-floor laundry room; master bedroom with walk-in closet and private bath; two secondary bedrooms served by a full hall bath; basement; and two-car garage.

✿ The Dalton. This 1,993-square-foot end-unit townhome features three bedrooms; 2½ baths; family room open to the eat-in kitchen; formal living room with bay window and vaulted ceiling; formal dining room; master bedroom with cathedral ceiling, walk-in closet and private bath; two secondary bedrooms served by a full hall bath; second-floor laundry; basement; and two-car garage.

✿ The Clayton, a 1,849-square-foot two bedroom plan with a loft that includes a eat-in kitchen open to the formal dining room which in turn opens to the living room with two-story ceiling; master bedroom suite with his-and-hers walk-in closets and private master bath; secondary bedroom and loft with access to the full hall bath; basement; and two-car garage.

"The Clayton for immediate delivery includes upgraded, crí¨me-colored glazed Merrilat cabinets and deep mocha-colored hardwood plank flooring," Plastiak said. "The family room fireplace also features a decorative ceramic-tile surround which is very lovely."

All four floor plans are also under construction in building two and buyers may choose their interior selections and be moved-in within 30 to 60 days.

Standard features included in all Radcliffe Place townhomes are brick and stone construction on all four sides of the first floor; fully-landscaped homesites with built-in sprinkler system; 10-by-10 paver brick patio; kitchens with granite countertops, gas ranges, dishwashers and disposals; baths with ceramic tile flooring, quality wood vanities and cultured marble vanity tops; choice of wall-to-wall carpeting; oak trim and doors; full basements; central air conditioning; two-car garages; and energy-efficient gas water heater and furnace.

Part of the allure of Radcliffe Place is the location. Minutes from Interstates 80 and 57, Radcliffe Place residents also benefit from the newly opened I-355 extension. Two Metra Stations are also nearby with one in walking distance of Radcliffe Place. Restaurants, shopping, medical centers and other conveniences are within walking distance of the community, and several Orland Park shopping centers are within 10 minutes of Radcliffe Place. Children attend the newly opened Millennium Elementary school, which is within Radcliffe Place, as well as Prairie View Middle School and Andrew High School.

Adults and children benefit from numerous programs, facilities and parks offered through the Tinley Park Park District. Tinley Fitness is the park district's full-service health club that includes racquetball courts, a lap pool and more.
