Furnished townhome models for sale at Shadow Hill

May 3, 2008

If you're looking to rid yourself of a lawnmower this spring or simply tired of renting, you may want to visit Shadow Hill in Elgin, where Ryland Homes is selling its four professionally-decorated townhome models as the community approaches close-out.

Loaded with new home features including fireplaces, hardwood flooring, rich maple and cherry cabinets, stainless-steel appliances and more, these models also include window and wall treatments, custom built-ins and, for an additional $10,000, all furniture is included as well.

"The townhome models were decorated by DesignWorks of Colorado and feature some terrific custom built-ins, beautiful draperies and fabulous wall textures and faux finishes," Meyn said. "Buyers looking to pack little more than a suitcase can purchase all the furniture shown in the model for only $10,000. For first-time buyers getting started could be a snap in one of these completed furnished models or for empty-nesters who are worried their existing furnishings won't fit into a townhome ... no worries. These homes are move-in ready."

Just west of Randall Road at the intersection of Nesler Road and South Street, Shadow Hill currently offers six townhomes on a to-be-built basis, priced from $234,990 to $257,990, in addition to the model homes which are priced from $296,036 to $356,032. A limited number of single-family homes in the Hartford and Executive Series are also still available with prices ranging from $336,990 to $447,990.
