Outdoor features showcased at sales event

In this current housing market, buyers know they are in the driver's seat and they are demanding more value and a new home that is move-in ready.

To answer that demand, national home builder Toll Brothers is rolling out a sales event that gives buyers just that - unprecedented value and a home complete with the outdoor enhancements buyers would typically add after they move in to a new construction home.

The Toll Brothers Great Outdoors Sales Event takes place for three days only, Friday, July 18 through Sunday, July 20. Buyers who make a deposit on a home during the event will receive select outdoor living upgrades such as a spacious sunroom or screened porch addition, a deck or patio, fire pit or built-in barbecue, and landscaping enhancements for $1. The incentives vary development by development, but typically are valued from $30,000 to $50,000.

"We are catering to the buyer's market," stated Andy Stern, senior vice president of Toll Brothers' Illinois Division. "And, right now, smart buyers are reaping the rewards and we can't stress enough that there has never been a better time to buy new construction in Chicagoland."

In addition to the sales event, each participating Toll Brothers community is hosting family-fun activities from 10 a.m. to 5 Saturday and Sunday, such as putting contests, caricature artists, and bounce houses, as well as guest chefs grilling traditional barbecue, plus refreshments and treats.

Buyers ready to make a move should take a look at one of Toll Brothers' seven communities in Hawthorn Woods, Elgin, Bloomingdale, Morton Grove, Glenview, North Aurora, and South Barrington. Single-family residences and condominiums are base-priced from the upper $200,000s to the upper $600,000s.

The company offers several programs to help potential buyers sell their current home including home staging services and extended build times as well as attractive mortgage programs through their in-house mortgage arm, TBI Mortgage.
