Buyers can move in now to luxurious townhomes and single-family homes

July 18, 2008

If you're a home shopper who can move within 120 days, you can obtain a beautiful award-winning single-family home or townhome in one of Chicagoland's most distinctive, exciting communities.

At West Point Gardens, the award-winning Traditional Neighborhood Design community in the Randall Road corridor of Elgin, a dazzling selection of homes in three series are offered at value pricing that can save buyers many thousands of dollars on finely finished homes. Both townhomes and single-family homes in two series are priced to sell with tremendous savings and with a Guaranteed Sales Program to assist buyers with the sale of their existing homes.

"All townhomes and single-family homes include basements and private enclosed garden areas as well as a variety of deluxe features and finishes that make each a one-of-a-kind opportunity for some fortunate buyer," said Pat Curran, president of West Point Builders, the developer. "In addition, buyers will have the bonus of a cohesive traditional community with numerous amenities and a warm, friendly environment like that of the small towns of the past."

Strategically situated just south of the corner of Route 20 (Lake Street) and Nesler Street, one block west of Randall Road, West Point Gardens is well-known for its fresh interpretation of traditional architecture and its room-sized front porches with garages in the rear to enhance a charming streetscape. Buyers can plan a one-stop tour of 11 professionally decorated single-family and townhome models, all of which feature the theme gardens that give the community its identity.

The private enclosed gardens include a 6-foot private maintenance-free fence and fully sodded yard with concrete patio plus walkway to the gate that can be securely locked. Buyers may work with the West Point Builders landscape designer to create a customized garden using one or more of the elements seen in the theme gardens showcased in the model homes.

The 173-acre community will include 342 single-family homes and 128 townhomes as well as paths, walking paths and sidewalks for a pedestrian- friendly setting. The recently dedicated 11-acre Meier Park is an expansive, inviting neighborhood back yard, with a covered pavilion and gazebo, playground equipment, baseball and soccer fields, tennis courts and basketball courts plus landscaped open space. Several smaller parks accent the neighborhood, and sidewalks, walking and bicycling paths enable residents to walk to nearby schools, the Fox Valley Bike Path and a 20-acre neighborhood shopping center planned for construction starting in the second quarter of 2008. In addition, the Randall Road corridor offers abundant shopping and other services plus access to major highways and commuter train service.

Buyers seeking fast delivery on their homes can choose among four townhome plans, four Heritage Series single-family designs and four executive Kingston single-family plans.

"Each of these homes has different special features and there may be only one home of a give plan available, so buyers who are interested should act quickly to obtain their favorite design and inclusions," Curran said. "There is a great deal of pent-up demand in the marketplace, and we have been experiencing increased interest in the community this spring. In addition, those buyers who want to move but have not yet sold their existing homes should know that we offer a Guaranteed Sales Program that assists buyers in making a smooth, economical move into their West Point Gardens home without the anxiety of having two house payments."

Townhome buyers may select a delightful Dearborn, value-priced at $271,950. The Dearborn is a 1,790-square-foot two-story plan with two bedrooms, 2 ½ baths and a convenient upstairs computer niche. A spacious family room and kitchen with breakfast area are oriented to the private enclosed garden, and a formal dining room and living room with 12-foot ceiling make this a home ideal for both entertaining and casual living.
