Models at Shorewood Glen active-adult community have second grand opening

There's been much happening at Shorewood Glen lately, as this Del Webb active-adult community in the southwest suburbs shows off newly updated homes that recently made their debut. Built by Pulte Homes, Shorewood Glen has become a destination for buyers 55-years and older who want the very best in active-adult living.

A total of 765 homes have been planned for the community, with Capitol Series ranch duplex homes base priced from the $150s. There are also two series of single-family homes, the Americana plans, base priced from the $210s and the Heritage homes, base priced from the $290s. The six decorator single-family model homes have been beautifully updated and are a focal point for visitors.

Del Webb has specifically designed Shorewood Glen for active-adults who are 55 years old and better. Shorewood Glen is one of four Del Webb active-adult communities in Illinois, which include the nearly sold out Sun City Huntley, Edgewater in Elgin and Grand Dominion in Mundelein.

Shorewood Glen's highlights include 233 acres of beautiful landscaping, attractive homes and a fully featured recreation center called the Lakeview Lodge, an amenity with an incredible array of features available to Shorewood Glen residents.
