Audi improved the most in the 2008 Initial Quality Survey done by J.D. Power and Associates. Even as IQ improved across the auto industry, Audi distinguished itself from the pack, jumping 16 spots to No. 10. The J.D. Power and Associates quality rankings are based on feedback from actual, new-vehicle owners.

Acura announced pricing for the 2009 RDX crossover SUV on sale at Acura dealerships nationwide. The smartly designed RDX is available in two versions: the RDX and the RDX with Technology Package. For 2009, the RDX now comes standard with a four-way adjustable power-activated passenger front seat, along with four new exterior colors: Basque Red Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, Grigio Metallic and Palladium Metallic. Pricing for the RDX is $33,695 and the RDX with Technology Package is $36,995.

With manufacturers pushing green initiatives and energy costs rising, a number of dealers have chosen to construct environmentally sound buildings that follow Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design standards. It awards buildings -- whether residential, commercial, and industrial or, in this case, retail -- that meet LEED criteria with regular, silver, gold or platinum certification. The National Automobile Dealers Association has worked with the EPA to develop an Energy Star program geared toward dealers.
