A look at Falconridge

The Falconridge neighborhood is a unique one in Bolingbrook. Located way on the northeast edge of town, Falconridge, though in Bolingbrook, is in the Woodridge Park District and students attend Woodridge and Downers Grove schools.

How to get there from your house

FROM WEST: Take Boughton Road east to Janes Avenue. Turn north on Janes and go to Cambridge Way. Turn west on Cambridge into the Falcon Ridge neighborhood.

FROM SOUTH: Take Janes Avenue north to Cambridge Way. Turn west on Cambridge into Falcon Ridge.

PLACES TO VISIT

1 Falconridge park

Part of the Woodridge Park District, Falconridge Park features a playground, picnic area, a soccer field and more.

2 IKEA

On the edge of Falconridge is Ikea, the Swedish-based megastore that draws shoppers from all over the western and southern suburbs.

3 WALGREEN'S

A Walgreen's and other stores are conveniently located at 83rd Street and Janes Avenue on the northeast border of Falconridge.

A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE

Along with being in a different park district and school district than most of Bolingbrook, Falconridge is also in DuPage County, rather than Will County like the vast majority of our village.
