Show your talent: Bolingbrook Community Television is seeking new and unusual talent for its variety show. Auditions will be held at 11 a.m. at the BCT studio at Town Center, 375 W. Briarcliff Road in Bolingbrook. The auditions are open to anyone who can sing, dance, juggle, tell clean jokes or do anything interesting or unusual, according to officials with the station. Tumblers sought: Youth Outreach Unplugged will hold auditions for local tumblers from 7 to 9 p.m. at Bolingbrook Fire Station 4, 1111 W. Boughton Road in Bolingbrook. Young people 6 to 19 years old are welcome to try out. Those chosen will perform a skit during a show by the Jesse White Tumblers in Bolingbrook on June 14. For information, call 630-270-4067.

Cooking Asian carp: The Great Lakes advocacy organization Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant, the U.S. Geological Survey and other entities will provide information about catching and cooking the invasive fish from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Bass Pro Shops, 709 Janes Ave., Bolingbrook.
