Cinco de Mayo fest: Gente Unida Ministries will hold its annual Cinco de Mayo event from noon to 7 p.m. on the grounds behind Bolingbrook Town Center, 375 W. Briarcliff Road. The event will feature music, folk dancers, a jalapeno eating contest and more. There will be rides, games and pińatas for children, and food and beverages will be available for purchase. Sign up for sale: Residents who want to sell items at the upcoming children's clothing and toy resale should sign up from 1 to 3 p.m. at St. Dominic Church, 440 E. Briarcliff Road in Bolingbrook. Bolingbrook Chorus: The Bolingbrook Community Chorus will present its spring concert entitled "B2B2B" at 3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of DuPage in Bolingbrook.
