Will County's first swine flu vaccine clinic today
PLAINFIELD -- The Will County Health Department will hold its first H1N1 flu vaccine clinic from 3-9 p.m. today at Plainfield Central High School on Fort Beggs Drive.
No one will be let into the building until the clinic starts at 3 p.m., to allow students and staff to exit the school normally. Plainfield police will be on hand to help direct people and manage traffic.
People wanting a vaccine should arrive no earlier than 2 p.m.
Everyone arriving before 3 p.m. will be assigned a number and seated in the football stadium until the clinic starts.
Everyone coming after 3 p.m. will line up at the end of the line.
Limited on-campus parking will be available in the north lot adjacent to the football stadium until after school dismisses at 2:30 p.m. Parking will be available anywhere on campus after school dismisses.
The flu vaccine clinic will be held inside Entrance G.
Health department officials intend to run the clinic until 9 p.m. regardless of attendance, barring unforeseen circumstances.
