Halloween show enters final weekend

October 30, 2009

This weekend is the last chance to see "The Spirit of All-Hallows Eve" being staged by the Theatre-on-the-Hill group at Bolingbrook's Performing Arts Stage.

"The Spirit of All-Hallows Eve" recreates the origins of the Halloween holiday, then tells three eerie tales that are appropriate for kids and adults alike.

According to organizers, the show is filled with "fantastical costumes, great sets, fun acting, and an entertaining, informative story."

Christina Fleetwood came to the show recently, and said she was impressed.

"I've taken my young son to countless shows, and this is the first one that held his attention from beginning to end," she said.

"The Spirit of All-Hallows Eve" is playing inside at Bolingbrook's Performing Arts Stage, at 375 W. Briarcliff Road behind the Town Center building. Friday's show starts at 8 p.m. while on Saturday and Sunday there are shows at 3 and 8 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for students and seniors and $12 for adults. For information, visit tothbolingbrook.com or call 630-759-2970.
