Aurora Christian vs. Luther North

NOTE: Winless Luther North forfeited this contest to the Eagles earlier this week, and Aurora Christian will be credited with a victory. The Eagles (8-0, 5-0) will finish the regular season at Wheaton Academy on Oct. 24.

Last week: West Aurora lost 48-12 vs Naperville North, Naperville Central beat West Chicago 41-20.
Outlook: The Blackhawks are in a must-win situation to keep any playoff hopes alive.

East Aurora (2-5, 1-3) at Lake Park (2-5, 2-3)

Last week: The Tomcats lost 47-13 to Elgin, Lake Park beat Streamwood 42-7.
Outlook: East Aurora's offense was stopped last week and looks to rebound to finish the season strong.

Oswego (5-2, 4-1) at Minooka (3-4, 2-3)

Last week: Oswego lost to Plainfield Central 22-6, Minooka beat Romeoville 36-14.
Outlook: The Panthers look to secure a playoff berth while shoring up their passing attack.

Waubonsie V. (4-3, 3-1) at South Elgin (2-5, 1-3)

Last week: The Warriors beat Bloom 37-12, South Elgin lost to St. Charles East 42-3.
Outlook: Waubonsie is on a roll and seeks its fifth straight win and playoff eligibility.

ACC (0-7, 0-5) vs. Marmion (2-5, 0-5)

Last week: ACC lost 42-21 to Driscoll, Immaculate Conception beat Marmion 40-38.
Outlook: Pride is on the line in a rivalry game, as ACC upset the Cadets last season.

Plano (5-2, 4-0) at Wilmington (7-0, 4-0)

Last week: Plano edged Seneca 21-14, Wilmington beat Lisle 24-0.
Outlook: The Reapers hope to upset the Wildcats to take control of the Interstate Eight Small conference and clinch a playoff spot.

Oswego East (2-5, 1-4) at Morris (3-4, 3-2)

Last week: Oswego East lost Plainfield North 13-6, Morris beat Plainfield South 28-7.
Outlook: This should be a low-scoring contest as both offenses average fewer than 10 points per game.

Sandwich (5-2, 2-2) vs. Manteno (3-4, 2-2)

Last week: Sandwich beat Peotone 40-13, Manteno lost to Reed-Custer 48-12.
Outlook: The Indians can clinch a playoff spot with a win, but Manteno has something to play for.

Mooseheart (1-6) at North Shore Country Day (0-7)

Last week: Mooseheart lost to Maranatha Baptist 38-12, North Shore Country Day lost 34-6 to Western Reserve Academy.
Outlook: The Red Ramblers hope pick up their second win on the season against a Raiders team giving up 31.7 points per game.

Batavia (5-2, 4-1) at DeKalb (1-6, 1-4)

Last week: Batavia beat Sycamore 47-22, DeKalb lost 49-21 to Kaneland.
Outlook: The Bulldogs should handle the Barbs to clinch a playoff spot and ready for Week 9 at Geneva.

Yorkville (1-6, 0-5) at Sycamore (3-5, 1-5)

Last week: Yorkville lost 55-14 to Glenbard South, Batavia beat Sycamore 47-22.
Outlook: The Foxes hope to get their offense going against the Spartans, who are giving up 41.3 points per game over the last four weeks.
