What to watch for: Defensively, the Cadets are switching to a 5-2 defensive alignment and offensively, a new quarterback will be under center. Pircon, a revelation last year, could have a huge senior season as one of the fastest running backs in the area.
Coach says: "We do have skill but the key to our season is to get our play makers the ball. I think we're going to be exciting offensively. Defensively, we're quicker. We've got kids who can play (the 5-2). We're excited about the season."
Key games: The Cadets face defending Class 5A state champion St. Francis in Week 3, followed by a rebuilding Marian squad in Week 4. Victories in each game gives the Cadets a real chance to contend for a division title.
