Coach: Ron Hunt.
Last season: 25-4 overall, 7-1 Little Ten Conference; lost in a regional final.

Projected starters
Shayne Peterson, senior, G
Jeremy Schmitt, junior, G
Nick Gottlieb, senir, G
Nick Eichas, senior, F
Andrew Fischer, junior, F

Key reserves
Brock Kartheiser
David Baumann
Aaron Alvarez
Sal Peritore
Brad Baker

Season outlook: The Bobcats have the personnel to run up and down the floor or play in a half-court set. They have speed and some size. Peterson leads a three guard attack and Eichas, who is 6 feet 6 inches, will anchor the middle. Defensively, the Bobcats used a full-court press often last season and will do more of the same this year.

Opponent's take: "I expect them to be among the top teams again. They have won the conference championship for three consecutive seasons at the sophomore level, so they have success at knowing how to win. They return a speedster in Shayne Peterson along with Eichas. They have some holes to fill with all of their graduated seniors, but Coach Hunt is a good coach who knows where to play players to their strengths as well as how to get the most out of his players."
