Fixing the radio tower
Workers on Friday removed two sections of the WBIG-AM radio tower that was damaged in this week's fatal Air Angels crash in Aurora. On Wednesday, the medical flight clipped the tower and crashed, killing all four people aboard. The accident reportedly caused "substantial damage" at a point about 50 feet below the top of the tower, which is 712 feet.
