Kane County
Unintentional Intolerance
The public is invited to attend CASA Kane County's upcoming conference, "Unintentional Intolerance" Conference to Address Diversity and Inclusion, featuring speaker Dr. Steven Robbins, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 6 at Piper's Banquets on Butterfield Road in Aurora. Sponsors include CASA Kane County, St. Charles Bank and Trust Company, Mental Health and Mental Retardation Inc. 708 Board, Total Living International and Waubonsee Community College. The conference fee is $75 and includes continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments. Continuing Education Credits have been arranged with Northern Illinois University. Coffee with the Mayor
Montgomery Village President Marilyn Michelini will hold a Coffee with the Mayor from 9 to 11 a.m. Nov. 7 at the newly reopened Bill's Restaurant at 702 Montgomery Road. This Coffee will provide an opportunity for residents to meet the Village President on an informal basis and discuss items of concern with her. Residents are encouraged to bring their comments, questions and ideas to the session. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided by the restaurant.

Prospective students interested in graduate school at North Central College are invited to attend an Open House from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 5 in Smith Hall at Old Main, 30 N. Brainard St. Faculty and admission counselors will present an overview of the College and degree options, the admission process and opportunities for students to meet with grad program coordinators and current grad students.
