Accused drunken driver flips car as he misses dead-end

Juan Carlos Olmedo-Guzman, 21, 900 block of Lebanon Street, Aurora, was charged with drunken driving, no driver's license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a crash around midnight Saturday, Aurora police said.
Guzman's vehicle was traveling north on Concord Street near Marion Avenue when it struck the curb where Concord ends and flipped over.
Guzman said he didn't realize the road ended, police reported. Neither Guzman nor his passenger were injured.

Suspicious person
A resident in the 3000 block of Royal Queens Court reported suspicious activity by a man claiming to work for Comcast, St. Charles police said. The man told the resident he needed to photograph recent work done by Comcast at the home, walked around the house and left a short time later. The resident said there had not been any work done by Comcast at the home. Comcast security officials said there had been four similar complaints about similar incident. The man was described as a white male, between 50 and 60 years old, balding gray hair, wearing glasses. The man had a Comcast ID on a chain around his neck, carried a camera and left in an older model light gray or silver compact car.

DUI arrest
Robert H. Cox, 54, 100 block of Saugatuck Road, Montgomery, was charged with drunken driving and improper lane use after his arrest around 8:30 p.m. Saturday near Douglas and Saugatuck roads, Oswego police said.
• Someone entered Oswego Presbyterian Church, knocked over a water cooler and emptied four fire extinguishers Friday, Oswego police said.
