Missing Montgomery teen found safe

November 3, 2009

A 16-year-old Montgomery teenager, missing since Oct. 20, has been found safe in another state with a family member, Montgomery police said Monday.

Tiffany Bonilla ran away from her home and was believed to be staying with friends or her non-custodial mother in Aurora, police said.

Bonilla was located in another state, safe and "in great care," Montgomery police Detective Sgt. Greg Sullivan said Monday. Bonilla was expected to be brought back home, Sullivan said.

A family member saw the notices in the media and contacted the family member she was staying with, Sullivan said. No family members are expected to be charged, he said.
