• Christmas Decoration Garage Sale: St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 320 S. Depot St., Somonauk, will hold a Christmas Decoration Garage Sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
• Trinity Trio: The trio -- bazaar, rummage sale, bakery -- will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Church United Methodist, Route 47 and Cannonball Trail, Yorkville. A soup lunch will be available. Proceeds go to local and global missions.
• Party-at-the-Pub: Fox Valley Jewish Neighbors is having its Party-at-the-Pub and Pledge Drive Kickoff at 6 p.m. Saturday McNally's Irish Pub, 201 E. Main St., St. Charles. • Pancake Breakfast: Blessed Sacrament Church is hosting a pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday in the parish hall at 801 Oak St., North Aurora. Adults/$8, Kids (3-12)/$4, Family/$18. • Surviving the Holidays: A two-hour seminar for those facing the holidays after the death of a loved one, separation or divorce will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Cross Lutheran Church, 8609 Route 47, Yorkville. • Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner: St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Hinckley is serving their annual corned beef and cabbage dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Tickets are $9/adults, $6/kids 6-12, and free for 5 and under. • Nativity Exhibition: St. Peter Church in Geneva will host the third annual Nativity Exhibition from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 14 and 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 15 at 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva. There will also be a unique mini bazaar from a Catholic Relief program, The Work of Human Hands. All products are made by the poor of developing nations. All proceeds will be returned to them.
