Traffic: Manuel Flores, 40, of the 4800 block of S. Seeley Street, Chicago, was charged Oct. 27 with improper use/display of a registration sticker, having an expired vehicle sticker and operating a vehicle without insurance after a traffic stop on Kirk Road at Wilson Street, police said.
Auto burglary: Somebody stole a custom sound system, GPS unit, digital camera and other personal possessions worth $2,720 from a vehicle parked in the 1100 block of Shabbona Trail, police said. The theft occurred sometime overnight or early morning hours. Police said there were no signs of forced entry.
Traffic: Lauren N. Vago, 27, of the 2700 block of W. Main Street, St. Charles, was charged Oct. 27 at 11:37 p.m. with driving on a suspended driver's license on Randall Road at Fabyan Parkway, police said. Vago also was charged with driving a vehicle without insurance.
Burglary: A total of $100 was stolen from a cash register at a restaurant in the 100 block of N. Batavia Avenue, police said. Police said the burglary occurred during the night.
Theft: Somebody stole a DeWalt saw valued at $350 from a truck parked in the 1000 block of Shabonna Trail, police said. The theft was reported at 12:48 p.m.
Burglary: Somebody stole an assortment of tools valued at $350 from a garage in the 300 block of First Street, police said. Police did not disclose the time of the theft.
